Caterforce Group

Hunt's Foodservice was a founder member of Caterforce when the organisation formed back in 1991. Richard Hunt is currently chairman of the group.

Caterforce consists of a dynamic group of seven leading independent foodservice wholesalers who joined together with the objective of exerting their combined purchasing power in negotiations with their core suppliers.

Each member covers a specific geographic area enabling the group to provide national coverage for national accounts. The combined turnover of the wholesalers is in excess of £170m employing more than 1200 people in local depots throughout the UK and Ireland.

Situated in Macclesfield in Cheshire Caterforce provide both purchasing and marketing advice to the consortium relating to frozen, chilled, ambient and non food products for customers across the complete spectrum of the foodservice industry.
