There is a misguided perception that frozen food is in some way inferior to fresh produce. Only by examining the facts can you see that frozen food has all of the merits of fresh food and much more.

Freezing is a completely natural process requiring no preservatives. The reality is that frozen food is usually much closer to our perception of "natural foods" than foods exposed to additives, preservatives and such like. The technology used in the freezing of food has improved dramatically over the years, resulting in a process where many products can be frozen at the peak of their quality in a matter of minutes, locking in all of the natural goodness.

Spinach loses 75% of its natural goodness within 2 days of picking. This loss is reduced to 20% by freezing.
